Guest Post Policy

Guest Posting:
I love guest posts. I invite and encourage bloggers to inquire about a guest post spot on Super Daddy, especially if you have something interesting to say.

With this I do have a couple prerequisites for guest posts.

  1. You should have read some of my blog to get a feel for what I like and post about. If you ask me to publish your post on tractor pulls, then no, you are asking the wrong blogger. I blog about parenting along with the occasional post about living green, the food industry, some politics (in favor of left leaning politics) and maybe, sometimes I will write a piece about religion (not a religious person myself so don’t send me something about how great God is).
  2. You must have an active Twitter account with at least 100 followers. By “active” I mean that you use your Twitter account weekly. If I look at your timeline I want to see that you engage with your followers. I don’t want to see that your timeline is full of tweets linking to your posts or retweets of other tweets linking to your posts. Engage with your followers. I want to know that if you guest post for me that you will promote that post on Twitter, and actually have people that will care you are guest posting.
  3. Having a Facebook fan page and/or Google Plus page would be nice and helpful in promoting your guest posts, but I will let it slide if you do not have a Facebook or Google Plus Page as long as you have a, relatively, strong Twitter account.

You do not need to be a blogger to guest post for me. I am more than willing to help freelance writers get a few things out on the web. (Please note I am not going to pay you for a blog post. I can come up with my own stuff for free.) If you are a freelance writer and do not have your own blog it is extremely important to have a strong Twitter account. If you do not have a Twitter account as described above in number 2, then do not email me. I will not publish your post.

When you email me your request to guest post on Super Daddy this is what you should include in the email.

  • Your full name, blog name, Twitter handle
  • Link to Twitter account
  • Link to Facebook fan page (if you have one)
  • Links to your published posts for other bloggers, e-zines, magazines, newspaper articles and your very own blog.
  • Use my name
  • Show a little knowledge about my blog

Now of course, if I know you from on Twitter, feel free to email me or DM me on Twitter.

And yes, I would love to do a guest post on your blog. Just ask and we’ll work something out.
Thanks for your interest in guest posting or having me guest post.
